I cannot give credit to myself for making this amazing tablescape {currently at our homepage}. This was done by Artie at Color Outside the Lines & features our bird tealight holders. Amazing job from a designer & tablescape artist extraordinaire! Here are the reasons why it's an amazing Fall tablescape:
1. He took the mood from ordinary to extraordinary...that is what tablescaping is all about!
2. He had a focal theme: Forest Glam. He did not go tangential at all. Playing up just one theme is what separates the beautiful from just plain disastrous! {e.g. too much going on}
3.He stayed with the colors of the season & the ones that complements them. Warm browns, sages, a hint of gold.
4. He took the cue from nature with bird's nests, twigs & moss.
5. He had a collection of items grouped in varying heights for more visual appeal.
6. He played with different textures. You can almost feel the smooth crystals & stoneware, the sharp edges of the bamboo flatware & the indentions of the hand turned wooden napkin ring.
7. And finally... he accessorized just right! Whimsical bird tealight holders, pheasant feathers & glistening crsytals.
