Tis the season for sharing & celebrating with friends & family. Holiday guests may crowd your home for a couple of days but I assure you, Christmas guests are one of the best part of the Holiday season. Here's a few tips to make their stay oh-so wonderful:

1. Declutter. This may seem like a no-brainer but nothing else states that you are prepared & ready for their coming than a clean & organized home.

2. Make your space worry-free. You may need to stow away heirlooms & expensive breakable items especially if children will be staying at your home.

3. Provide a comfortable place for them to sleep at. Not all of us may have the luxury of a spare bedroom but a sofa bed or air mattress most often will do especially for young guests. Provide them with enoughf pillows, blankets, comforters & throws.

4. Prepare a caddy for bathroom personals. Provide them with the necessities: shampoo, soap, toothpaste & towels. Arrange in a caddy.Maybe even tie a ribbon around it, they'll appreciate it so much!

5. Plan must-do's & must-sees during their stay. If it's their first time in your town, provide them with brochures from the local Chamber of Commerce. Depending on how long their stay is, plan to bring them to some of the town's attractions, shows & events.

6. Provide some home entertainment. Sing-alongs, board games, talent showcases or even just watching home videos. What can be more fun?

7. Food. Food. Food. The plan is to have plenty. Snacks should be readily available a well as hot drinks such as coffee, hot chocolate, cider or teas.

8. And last but not the least, greet them with enthusiasm as soon as they come in. Never fail to greet them "Welcome" & to tell them to "Always feel at home."

I hope all of you will have a great time entertaining this year.
